Experienced leadership with a builder’s mindset
KAB CM LLC is led by Kaled Abdou, President and Certified Construction Manager (CCM). Kaled graduated from the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering with a B.S. in Construction Management. His background includes a strong emphasis on construction management, estimating, and scheduling. He has worked on billions of dollars worth of construction projects.
He is also Vice President of Mohab Electrical Contracting Corporation, where he began his career in the construction industry, gaining valuable experience in both the private and public sectors.
Kaled has contributed at some of the world’s top firms, including AECOM (legacy URS), Cumming Group, NYU Langone Health, T.Y. Lin International, Turner Special Projects Division, WSP USA, and Yale University. His portfolio spans aviation, civil, Department of Defense, education, healthcare, high-rise, infrastructure, residential, rail/transit, and U.S. military projects.
His commitment to excellence was recognized early in his career with an Outstanding Academic Achievement Award—the Student Activities Certificate of Merit, signed and sealed by President Barack Obama in May 2009.

Performed detailed change order estimating, reviews, and cost tracking. Managed all logs, quantity takeoffs, and cost analyses for materials, labor, and equipment.
Estimated upgrades for the station’s parking garage and canopy expansion. Completed takeoffs and cost comparisons between subcontractor proposals.
Reviewed and rebuilt the project baseline schedule to recover lost time. Coordinated with contractors, developed recovery plans, and created detailed progress tracking tools.
Supported estimating team with quantity takeoffs for all phases of the major convention center expansion.
Converted and finalized the project’s baseline schedule in Primavera P6, covering a nine-year program with monthly updates and progress tracking.

Extension to staff as a Project Controls Specialist developing logistics plans to manage contractor track rights, third rail outages, and train routing.
Proposal efforts, lead scheduling, and planning for multi-site recovery and resiliency upgrades after Superstorm Sandy. Oversaw pre-construction, baseline development, and contractor coordination. Performed constructability reviews, logistics and staging plans, emergency routes plan, and value engineering.
Developed the full project schedule incorporating FAA requirements and tenant relocations. Managed sequencing for multiple hangar moves and runway work.
Created a master schedule for 720 home reconstruction projects. Designed workflow sequencing, critical path identification, and executive reporting.
Generated pre-construction and master schedules for three major projects: Combined Maintenance Shop, Access Control Building, and Water Tower Replacement. Served as lead scheduler for a confidential high-security facility. Developed detailed construction schedules accommodating phased occupancy and frequent time recoveries.
Managed project scheduling and coordination for critical hospital infrastructure upgrades including a new surgery and pediatrics center, ensuring zero operational disruption in active healthcare environments.
Scheduling Manager supporting Turner Special Projects Division overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery of large-scale military construction and facility improvement projects. Developed and maintained detailed project schedules ensuring alignment with Department of Defense standards and mission objectives. Performed critical path analysis, progress monitoring, and risk mitigation to maintain on-time and cost-effective execution of complex, secure projects. Led progress and coordination meetings with DoD directors and key stakeholders, providing schedule updates, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations.
